Overview of our services We specialise in tax and tax investigation services, accountancy and accounts preparation, Sage Line 50 computer consultancy, book keeping and payroll bureau services. Employees Tim Birkett Position: Managing Director Tim has over 30 years experience in a variety of environments involving finance and accountancy. He began his career in banking after which he moved into industry, working for large companies, dealing with credit control, purchasing, costing, budgeting, wages, financial accounts and group consolidation. He started providing accountancy and tax services in 1979 before forming his own practice in 1988. Tim heads the firm and is a Fellow Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (FMAAT) licensed to provide accounting and taxation services to the public, and an Associate Member of the Chartered Management Institute(ACMI). Andrew Ferguson Position: Accounts Senior Andrew has a sound grounding in manual book-keeping systems and good experience of implementing I.T solutions for clients with a view to increasing efficiency and reducing costs. He has a strong interest in related financial issues, such as banking and investment, and looks forward to helping clients with positive advice in these areas. He works closely with Tim Birkett on all client matters and is the first point of contact in the event of Tim's absence from the office. Andrew joined the firm in January 2001 with five years experience in public practice. He has a BA Hons degree in Economics and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Liz Lockton Position: Practice Administrator Liz is responsible for client liaison and for ensuring that all work passing through the firm is correctly logged and monitored. She controls the practice diary and is the first point of contact for all our clients. If you are unable to get through to Tim, Andrew or Lyn then Liz will ensure that they get back to you with the information you require. Lyn has over 20 years experience in providing book-keeping services and ensures that all VAT and payroll deadlines are met providing, of course, that our clients give us their records on time!!
